Inspired by the sun-drenched coastal regions of the Mediterranean, co-founders Luke Stoioff and David Rekhson have assembled a team of acclaimed culinary talent to bring La Serre’s menu to life. Leading the kitchen is Chef Nikitas Pyrgis, alongside Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos, whose culinary perspective is shaped by his work on iconic Mediterranean concepts such as Noema and Scorpios. Athinagoras is also a Partner in DineAmic Hospitality’s LYRA and VIOLI, further anchoring La Serre’s menu in a refined yet vibrant Mediterranean ethos.

The Menu
La Serre’s culinary approach highlights light, vibrant Mediterranean cuisine, emphasizing native techniques, seasonal ingredients, and clean, balanced preparations. Fresh vegetables, pristine seafood, and all-natural Black Angus beef are finished over the kitchen’s custom-made hardwood charcoal hearth, imparting nuanced wood and charcoal flavors that enhance each ingredient without reliance on heavy sauces or excessive seasoning.
Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean’s sun-rich growing regions, the cocktail program focuses on bright, refreshing, and herbaceous profiles designed to pair seamlessly with the menu. An expertly curated wine list complements the experience, offering a balanced selection of Old World Mediterranean wines alongside New World varietals.
The Space
Inspired by the coastal regions of the Mediterranean, La Serre invites guests to enter off Green Street into a lush, light-filled greenhouse—aptly named, as La Serre translates to “The Greenhouse.” Inside, guests are surrounded by layered textures and organic materials, including Bohemian décor, thick wood beams, Venetian plaster, abundant florals, floral-lined booths, and antique mosaic tiles that evoke the effortless elegance of Mediterranean seaside living.
